The Inner Forth Landscape Initiative, Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Inner Forth Landscape Initiative?

The Inner Forth Landscape Initiative is an exciting programme of work to conserve, enhance and celebrate the unique landscape and heritage of the upper reaches of the Firth of Forth in Scotland. To find our more, visit the ‘What is IFLI?’ page of this website.

Who is the Inner Forth Landscape Initiative run by?

The day to day running of the Inner Forth Landscape Initiative during the delivery phase is being undertaken by a small team of staff. IFLI staff are hosted by RSPB Scotland, lead partner to the initiative. The IFLI staff team report to the IFLI Steering Group and IFLI Board who meet regularly to review progress. Both groups include members from the IFLI partnership.

The vast majority of IFLI projects are not led by the IFLI staff team. Some are, but the rest are led by formal IFLI partner organisations or other IFLI partners. In this way the wider IFLI partnership is made up of representatives of national, local and community interests. Please use the project explorer to find details of who leads on each project.
