A fungal foray by the Forth

Fungi specialist and ecologist Chris Knowles will lead this workshop for anyone who wants to learn more about identifying fungi, one of the world's largest groups of organisms with potentially 1.5 million species! You will have a chance to identify species in the field, take spore prints to assist with identification and find out where to go for further information.

Location TBC but likely around the Alloa area, Clackmannanshire. 

Essential Details

Tea/coffee will be provided but please bring a packed lunch.

To get the most out of the workshop we suggest you bring a pen and notebook.

This session is partly out of doors so please dress sensibly for the changeable Scottish weather. We suggest waterproofs, layers plus a hat for sun or cold. The route may be muddy or uneven in places so walking boots/stout footwear is advised.
