Join Rab McKenzie and Dougie Spiers from the Valleyfield Heritage Project for a walking tour through the history of Valleyfield Estate, a village which has changed and adapted as the industry and landscape of the Inner Forth changes around it.

The walk will take in historic structures such as the ice house, Sir Robert Preston's house and the walled garden (built to grow pineapples) on the Valleyfield Estate, as well as the stable block, which will be the setting for an archaeological dig.

The walk will start and end at the Newmills entrance to Valleyfield Woods.

Booking is essential - to book a place contact the IFLI office on 01324 831568 or This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
