This new public forum is aiming to connect people from around the area who have a passion for their local heritage.
The first Clackmannanshire Heritage Forum, organised by IFLI and the Clackmannan Heritage Trust is bringing together a variety of historic heritage groups from across the area to connect them with locals who are keen to get involved in preserving and promoting historic features and cultural heritage across Clackmannanshire.
There will be representatives from a number of local groups, including long-running organisations like Clackmannan Heritage Trust, Tullibody History Group, the Friends of Alloa Tower, and Dollar History Group. Each will give a short presentation on their past, present and future work, and highlight oppurtunities they can offer potential volunteers. There will be time to browse information stalls, chat and network over free tea, coffee and a delicious light buffet supplied by Forth Valley College!
The Forum is completely free of charge to attend. It runs from 7pm until about 9pm.
