Bridgeness Biodiversity - Volunteer Day

Wed. 6 Dec, 2017 10:00 am - 1:00 pm

The wildlife site at Bridgeness Ship Breakers in Bo'ness is well used by the local community, as well as people following the route of the John Muir Way as it passes through the area. Buglife's regular volunteer events at the site, which take place on the first Wednesday of every month, 10am-1pm, will give you the opportunity to get involved with habitat management tasks, including scrub removal and litter picks, as well as training oppurtunites in how to use tools and equipment, and plant and animal ID skills.

Tea, coffee and biscuits are provided.

Please remember to wear sturdy footwear and wear warm clothes and waterproofs.

To find out more information and how you can get involved please contact Suzanne Burgess at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and 01786 447504.
