Coastal Clacks Woodland Network

#Clackmannanshire#Conserving Restoring#Woodland Wildlife

Coastal Clacks Woodland Network was an IFLI access project based around the corridors of the Devon and Black Devon Rivers in Clackmannanshire. It was designed to improve this habitat by upgrading the footpath network on the site, and by removing invasive Japanese knotweed. This project was completed in March 2015, and a final project report with more information can be found below.

The Coastal Clacks project has seen a large increase in the variety of species on the site, as well as enhancing the area for public use. We have had positive feedback from people in the local area, from whom the paths are now safer and easier to access, encouraging greater interaction with this part of the Inner Forth landscape.
