Kinneil Woods

This project aims to restore 40 hectares of woodland around Bo'ness and Grangemouth, enhancing the existing woodland networks and benefitting both the wildlife and local people. To help this events have been run at Dean Primary with the aim of getting local school children engaged with the project and with the woodland.

Areas of existing woodland will be thinned, invasive species controlled and some native replanting carried out, to improve the quality of the woodland network and to create links across the landscape. This will help to boost biodiversity, and allow animals to move more easily from one area to another.
