We have created a tourism toolkit to support hospitality and tourism businesses in the provision of information, services and infrastructure, encouraging sustainable heritage tourism in the Inner Forth area.
Your Inner Forth Tourism Toolkit combines new and existing tools into a library of resources directly relevant to the Inner Forth as a destination. The new tourism toolkit, downloadable for free in our Resources Library, provides businesses with information on local heritage and what makes the area unique and recognisable, walking and cycling tourism, sustainable tourism, and business development. As part of the Inner Forth Tourism Toolkit, Climate FORTH also provides access to a bank of professional images that can be used by individuals and businesses for promotional purposes, without paying fees or royalties. The content of the tourism toolkit was created by the Climate FORTH team and content writer Dympna McKenna for Inner Forth Futures, and designed by Arken Creative.
Free training sessions linked to the topics covered by the Tourism Toolkit will be offered to local tourism and hospitality businesses. This will include talks by industry specialists and ‘familiarisation trips’ to local heritage sites.
