Want to know your Red Admiral from your Small Tortoiseshell? Join Butterfly Conservation Scotland and Stirling Rangers on this free workshop to learn how to identify and record butterflies! This event will be suitable for all abilities, from complete beginners to those with a bit more experience. You’ll spend the morning indoors learning about butterflies, then go outside in the afternoon to see the recording route at Plean Country Park.
It’s hoped that attendees will go on to help with recording butterflies, either in their own areas or at Plean Country Park or Fallin Bing.
The event will take place at the Walled Garden of Plean Country Park between 10am and 3pm, with time for lunch. If you are only able to make it for part of the day you would still be welcome to attend.
