The Helping Hands for Butterflies project, run by Butterfly Conservation Scotland is running a number of events across Scotland over the autumn and winter of 2021-2022 to maintain butterfly and moth habitats.
Fallin Bing (near Stirling). Saturday 15th January 2022, 10am 3pm.
Fallin Bing is a great place to see butterflies, but needs some work to prevent the spread of trees and shrubs onto the wildflower-rich areas that butterflies like Common Blue thrive in. We need help to cut back some of these trees and shrubs using hand tools, and for removing the cut material.
To book onto the session, fill in the Butterfly Conservation form, available here.
Other habitat maintenance sessions are running across Scotland. For a full list search the 'events' listings on the Butterfly Conservation website.
