Climate FORTH Invitation to Quote: Monitoring & Evaluation Framework
As part of the Inner Forth Futures' Climate FORTH (Furthering Our Resilience Through Heritage) project, RSPB Scotland, on behalf of Inner Forth Futures, wishes to commission a consultant or agency to design a Monitoring & Evaluation Framework for the project.
RSPB Scotland, on behalf of the Inner Forth Futures partnership (IFF), wishes to commission a consultant or agency to design a monitoring and evaluation framework that will track the progress, impact and reach of the Climate FORTH project in its delivery phase. The project is currently in receipt of a National Lottery Heritage Fund (NLHF) development grant, and subject to satisfactory progress will submit a delivery phase application to NLHF in November 2022. If successful, the Climate FORTH delivery phase will run April 2023 to June 2026.
The successful agency / consultant will identify project indicators to track progress against project and NLHF outcomes; create a robust and manageable system to collect and monitor activity outputs and project indicators, and propose methods of monitoring the impact that the project and its activities have on key audiences and stakeholders, both within and beyond the project boundary. The IFF partnership is keen to identify manageable ways to assess outcomes and legacy impacts, including the learning, added value and additional benefits derived throughout and beyond the three-year delivery period of the project.
The Monitoring and Evaluation Framework will include process monitoring, impact monitoring and monitoring support. Interested parties can find full details within the INVITATION TO QUOTE: CLIMATE FORTH MONITORING AND EVALUATION FRAMEWORK
The value of the work will be up to £5,000 excluding VAT. The works will occur between May/June and August 2022.
This contract will involve working closely with the Project Manager and other members of the Climate FORTH team and partnership, building on their strong understanding of the project and its activities, experience of monitoring and evaluation and ideas for what will and won’t work. It is critical that the system developed is realistic in its scope and resource requirements, is owned by the Climate FORTH team and wider IFF partnership.
The successful candidate should demonstrate previous experience in similar work. The Monitoring & Evaluation Framework will be submitted as part of a Stage 2 bid to the National Lottery Heritage Fund, grants for heritage.
