Climate FORTH Brief to Tender: Green Heritage Transport Service

Inner Forth Futures seek contractor for feasibility study on a Green Heritage Transport Service for the Inner Forth.

RSPB Scotland, on behalf of Inner Forth Futures partnership, wishes to commission a consultant to undertake a feasibility study into the proposed delivery of an electric Green Heritage Transport Service for walkers and cyclists/bikes within the Inner Forth area.

RSPB.The proposed Green Heritage Transport Service sits within the Climate FORTH (Furthering Our Resilience Through Heritage) project as part of a wider suite of activities that will enhance the active travel infrastructure and provision within the Inner Forth area and support the local economy. 

The work will be undertaken between April and July 2022. The feasibility study is intended to support the development of future work through Climate FORTH and will be submitted as part of a Stage 2 bid to the National Lottery Heritage Fund. This development work is possible thanks to National Lottery players, the Climate FORTH development phase is funded by National Lottery Heritage Fund.
